Extended Abstract - to submitted until 7th August

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FEE

The abstract submission fee is 50 CHF (non-refundable) and has to be paid via a separate online system hosted by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). Click on the button below to pay the submission fee via the online payment system of EPFL. You will be asked to insert your EasyChair Abstract <id_number> and specify your presentation preference.

The notification of the abstract acceptance will only be valid when EPFL receives the payment.

Scientific Summary - Template

ERAD2022 has reserved a budget to support young researchers from institutions with limited travel budget. In addition, the Swiss Academy of Sciences scnat is sponsoring the travelling, accommodation and registration costs for one student. Applicants are asked to check the box for the “Reduced Registration Fee Program” in the abstract payment form, and submit a curriculum vitae including birth date, a scientific summary, and a motivation letter for the registration fee reduction signed by the head of the institute or employer to erad2022@meteoswiss.ch 

by 22 April 2022. You can download the template for the scientific summary by clicking on the button below. It has an upper limit of 6 pages, including references. The scientific summary will remain internal to the evaluation committee. If you intend to submit also an extended abstract, which will be public, you can of course use the same text and figures as in the scientific summary, but note the templates are different.

Extended Abstracts - Template

The submission of an extended abstract is only facultative and can be uploaded also after the abstract submission deadline. The extended abstract has an upper limit of 8 pages, including references. You can download the extended abstract template by clicking on the button below.

 

If you have already submitted your abstract on EasyChair, follow these steps to upload your extended abstract:

  1. Access the ERAD2022 EasyChair Session.

  2. On the top menu, click: ‘Submission.<Your_ID_Number>’.

  3. On the top-right side of the page, click : ‘Add file’.

  4. Click the ‘Choose File’ button to upload the pdf.

  5. Click the ‘Submit’ button to validate the extended abstract submission.

IMPORTANT POINTS

 

Please pay attention to the following points:

  • An ID number is assigned to each of your abstract submissions. Please use such ID number for any correspondence with us. 

  • If necessary, your submission can be modified directly through EasyChair (revisions, upload of a new version, update of author information).

  • Please note that there is a separate form for the registration. You are not automatically registered to the conference by having submitted an abstract.​
